GENERAL SALES MANAGER

£60,000 basic plus commission OTE £90,000 plus company car and pension

Job Role:

To meet and exceed sale targets, while ensuring that the highest degree of customer satisfaction is provided. You will be responsible for 2 Sales Controllers, 2 Business Managers and ten Sales Executives. You must be process driven, a strong, respected leader but most of all, hungry to not only meet targets but to drive the business in-line with the huge expansion, currently taking place. You must be knowledgeable on all high end brands from Landrover to Ferrari. Full training will be provided.

The Role and Responsibilities

The right candidate must:

  • Be able to create and maintain a team environment
  • Be able to increase ppu and sales by 15-20%
  • Be thinking long term with the desire to become a shareholder
  • Have experience in running a large prestige franchise site to a minimum of general sales manager level
  • Have a solid job history
  • Be able to provide documented evidence of your success at your current dealership, including profit and csi
  • Be able to provide two excellent references from previous employers

Your Skills and Attributes:

  • Warm and engaging personality with strong negotiating and closing skills
  • Enthusiasm to exceed monthly sales targets
  • Friendly and professional manner
  • Maths and English GCSE Grades A*, A, B or C or Scottish equivalent
  • Smart personal appearance
  • Team-player
  • A full and valid UK Driving Licence
  • Previous car sales experience preferable but not essential
